Artist Statement
Through my lens, I seek to capture moments that reveal the beauty, resilience, and fragility of our world. Whether it’s the stillness of a landscape, the fleeting expression of a portrait, or the subtle details often overlooked in daily life, my work invites reflection and rediscovery.
For me, photography is more than documentation — it is dialogue. Each image is a conversation between subject and viewer, connecting people to places, stories, and emotions that transcend words. Years of traveling the globe as a flight attendant, along with a lifelong love of the outdoors, have shaped a perspective rooted in curiosity, gratitude, and respect for both nature and humanity.
About the Artist
I graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Photography from Arizona State University and am currently pursuing a second Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and Sciences, expanding my practice into the intersections of technology, design, and visual culture. My academic journey is built on more than 40 years of hands-on photography experience, beginning with black-and-white film and evolving through the digital age.
Professionally, I bring a unique perspective shaped by 36 years of service as a flight attendant and prior experience in the U.S. Air Force and Army. These global experiences sharpened my eye for detail, strengthened my respect for people and nature, and continue to inform my artistic vision.
Living in Medina, Ohio, I keep developing projects that stimulate reflection and dialogue, aiming to create art that resonates, inspires, and endures.
